Challenger 300, Challenger 350, Gulfstream G280, Embraer Legacy & Praetor
Challenger 300 inventory has increased for the first time in more than a year, but pricing remains strong. There are now 18 listings in this market, up from 15 in the prior quarter, but well below the 27 aircraft that were listed a year ago. Activity remains steady, with six sales taking place in Q3, the same as Q2. Total sales for the year are at 20, which is behind last year’s pace by roughly 30%, but buyers had more options to choose from back then. Values continue to rise, with prices increasing for the second consecutive quarter now. With historically low inventory and strong prices, the CL300 market remains favorable for sellers.

Like the 300s, Challenger 350 inventory has risen for the first time in more than a year, but strong pricing continues to impress. There are now nine listings in this market, up from just six the previous quarter. Even with the rise in inventory, there is still just 2.1% of the active fleet for sale. Activity came back to reality at just six Q3 transactions, down from an incredible 14 sales in Q2. Still, the 25 total sales for 2025 are well above previous years’ activity through the first three quarters. Prices continue to rise, with values up significantly from the start of the year. With low inventory and strong pricing, this is a great time to sell your Challenger 350.

G280 inventory is up 70% since Q1, but late model demand is keeping pricing steady. There are now 17 listings in this market, up from 14 last quarter. Current inventory levels represent 5.6% of the active fleet, the highest in three years. Activity has cooled off a bit; just three sales took place during Q3. This is half of what traded during Q3 of 2024, but total sales year to date are on pace with last year, thanks to an active Q1. After taking a pretty good hit at the turn of the year, values have remained steady, and I think we may see some increases in the later model years as we make our way into Q4. With elevated inventory yet steady pricing, this market remains balanced for buyers and sellers.

Inventory is down slightly in the Embraer Super-Mid space, and transactions have picked up a bit. There are now 13 listings in this market, down from 14 last quarter. Current inventory levels represent 3.5% of the active fleet, which has held relatively steady going back a couple of years. After a slow Q2, transactions picked up as four sales took place. This is double what traded during Q3 of 2024. Values have increased slightly, led by demand for the late model Praetor 500 and 600 as more and more buyers realize the incredible performance of these airplanes. With steady inventory yet strong demand, Embraer super-mids continue to be a tough market for buyers.
