Phenom 100, Phenom 300
Phenom 100 inventory has reached a level higher than we could have ever imagined just a year ago. Looking back to Q2 2018, there was only 14 Phenom 100 listings. Now fast forward to Q2 2019. There are currently a whopping 35 listings representing nearly 12% of the active fleet. As far as activity, there were three sales in the second quarter, matching the first quarter of 2019’s activity. Those six sales are well behind 2018’s pace of 20 sales YTD. Pricing has slid as expected with this elevated inventory, and those Phenom 100’s with approaching 10-year inspections are being discounted appropriately. With plenty of options and attractive pricing, now would be a great time to move into a Phenom 100.
Phenom 300 inventory is up slightly but has been met with good activity. There are currently 18 Phenom 300 listings representing 3.8% of the active fleet. This is up comparatively to Q1 2019 where only 14 Phenom 300’s were for sale. Looking at location, however, only five are located in the U.S. Activity ramped up in the second quarter, producing eight transactions after only one sale occurred during Q1 2019. This big second quarter puts us ahead of last year’s pace of six sales by this time. With a limited amount of U.S. based aircraft, strong demand and steady pricing, this market still remains an excellent environment for sellers.
