Hawker 800XP, Hawker 850XP, Hawker 900XP
Hawker 800XP transactions slowed and inventory rose in the third quarter of 2019. There were 11 sales, down from the 15 sales during Q2 2019. If we look back a year ago, the third quarter of 2018 brought 17 sales. Total 2019 sales are at 37, well behind last year’s pace of 53 by this time. Inventory has climbed to 57 listings, the highest we’ve seen in three years. Current inventory levels represent 14% of the active fleet. Pricing has held steady for the second consecutive quarter, after dropping earlier in the year. With attractive pricing and rising inventory, now is a great time to purchase an 800XP.
Activity has finally picked up in the 850XP market, with Q3 2019 producing more sales than the prior three quarters combined. Six Hawker 850XP’s sold in the third quarter, doubling what had taken place the 6 months prior. Inventory, however, is still at record levels. With 20 listings, one of every five 850XP’s is on the market. Pricing held steady this quarter, after dropping earlier in the year. Even with activity picking up, inventory levels still favor buyers in this current 850XP market.
Activity cooled off a bit in the 900XP market after a record-setting first six months of 2019. It would be difficult to keep this pace up – 19 sales combined during Q1 and Q2 of 2019. Compare this to only seven that had sold in 2018 YTD. The third quarter of 2019 only brought three sales, making it the slowest quarter since Q1 of 2018. Pricing is still strong, with values holding steady for three consecutive quarters now. Inventory has also held steady at 16 listings. This is right in line with average levels over the past year. Currently, 9% of the active fleet is for sale. With strong pricing and numerous options, the 900XP market provides excellent opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
