Falcon 2000, Falcon 2000EX EASy, Falcon 2000LX
The number of Falcon 2000 aircraft available for sale has increased slightly when compared to the second quarter of 2018. Q2 saw an average of 24 aircraft for sale, which represents 10.5% of the fleet, and is four more than the previous year. In Q2 there were 12 retail transactions, which is double the number for Q2 2018. The number for sale has remained fairly stable for the past four quarters. Pricing has dropped in the last quarter. This presents an excellent opportunity for the buyer with stable inventory and declining prices.
The Falcon 2000 EX EASy market has tightened up significantly in the past year. Q2 2019 averaged three units available on the market, which is half of what it was in Q2 2018, and represents just 2.6% of the fleet. There have been three sales last quarter, which are three fewer than a year ago. Pricing also remains stable, with no changes for the past eight quarters. This is an excellent market for the seller, as pricing has stabilized, and supply is tight.
The Falcon 2000LX market has fluctuated in the past five quarters, and has had a moderate increase of availability in Q2. In Q2, there was an average of six aircraft available, which is an increase of two units when compared to Q2 2018. There were two sales in Q2 2019, compared to only one sale in Q2 2018. The increasing number on the market has not yet translated into increased sales. Overall, pricing has remained steady for the past six quarters. This would be a good time to purchase a Falcon 2000LX, as the used inventory is increasing, and pricing is stable.
