Phenom 100, Phenom 300
The Phenom 100 market continues to be relatively stable in number of aircraft sold. Sales for the first three quarters of 2017 are now on track with 2016 with 23 sales year to date compared to 29 for all of 2016. Inventory levels have declined for the first half with 36 aircraft for sale on the market. Currently, 10.3% of the fleet is for sale, down slightly from last quarter and last year. About half of the Phenom 100’s on the market are registered in the US. The average ask price is $2.180MM and is down slightly from last quarter.
The Phenom 300 has been a very successful aircraft for Embraer and the used market has become established. After sluggish activity and increased inventory levels between Q3 2016 and Q1 2017, the market has rebounded nicely. There are now only 13 units on the market after a high of 23 around the first of the year. Transaction activity has picked up with 14 aircraft trading during the second and third quarters of 2017. Average asking prices are down slightly, but buyers are now having trouble finding a good aircraft, keeping sale prices steady.
