Phenom 100, Phenom 300
The Phenom 100 market is off and running in the second quarter of 2018. Inventory has been cut in half since Q1 2017 with transactions up 33%. Currently, there are only 19 Phenom 100’s for sale, compared to 39 in Q1 2017. Despite the lack of inventory, eight aircraft sold during the first quarter of 2018, compared to six in Q1 2017. Prices have stabilized with the potential for certain model years to increase as we get further into 2018. With inventory depleted and strong demand, this may be the best time to sell a Phenom 100 in the past few years.
Just like past quarters, demand for the Phenom 300 remains high. With only 3% of the active fleet on the market, buyers are struggling to find US based aircraft with the specifications they’d like. This situation has caused transactions to be down in Q1 of 2018. Just one sale this first quarter of 2018, which compared to the 2 sales in Q1 of 2017, isn’t that far off. The following three quarters of 2017 brought 20 more transactions, and we’ll see if 2018 can produce the same. Pricing has stabilized overall, and some model years with certain options have shown increases. This market remains an excellent environment for sellers.
