Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Challenger 605
The Challenger 300 retail sales activity is still on the upswing through the first three quarters of this year. Available aircraft for sale has declined over the last couple of quarters. At the end of September, there were 27 Challenger 300 aircraft for sale which is just under 6% of the production. This market is one of the stronger ones that we work in. Prices are continuing to decline but not as much as other comparable jets.
The retail sales activity for the Challenger 604 is still trending up in 2017. Through three quarters, there have been more transactions with the Challenger 604 than all of last year. The percentage of available aircraft for sale has dropped to just over 9%. The previous quarter it was over 11%. These are all good trends for the Challenger 604.
The Challenger 605 has the same story as its predecessor, the Challenger 604. Retail transactions are up through three quarters and available aircraft for sale are slightly down. The percentage of aircraft for sale is at a respectable 6.2%. The sales activity has continued to improve with this capable large cabin aircraft.
